" The shortest day 2012" trailer has been entrusted to the students from La Poudriere, with the contribution of the film-maker Federico Vitali and Yan Volsy for the sound design.
"Created in five days by the second-year students, as part of a "very short" workshop, the trailers didn't last long. It has to be done quickly, very quickly. Rather than literally illustrating the short-film genre, the students preferred it to shine brightly, using several movie genres: war, western, film noir, documentary, experimental, romantic, science-fiction, heroic-fantasy... as many revisited genres, idealized or mangled stereotypes that have been directed and animated quickly, very quickly... to make it short.. very short!" Federico Vitali.
On December 21, 2012 the "shortest day" authors' societies (SACD) organized meetings and screenings with films awarded by the organization. Among them, Conte de faits directed by Jumi Yoon (class of 2011).
