After Christmas, Fitnass center on Arte Television Channel
Fitnass center, Julien Allard (classe of 2008) graduation film, will be on Arte, in “Court-Circuit” TV show, Friday 1st January 2010 around midnight. This 4-minute animated cartoon arrives in time after the festive season meals ! “Séverine often views herself as ugly, especially when her ex boyfriend Alex tells her so. Today, however, it's time to celebrate: Séverine has found a voucher for a free fitness session.”

Folimage and la Poudrière on TF1 TV Channel News
Folimage studio is in the spotlight : Ariol, the TV show, directed by Emilie Sengelin (La Poudrière class of 2005 ) has been on air on TF1 since november; the new short films program 4,5,6 Mélie Pain d'Epices is in movie theatres, Mia and the Migoo has been awarded the "European Oscar" for animated feature film…not forgetting the recent move to La Cartoucherie! TF1 Television channel sent a crew on the spot to make a report on La Poudrière and Folimage. The news will be on TF1 evening news, Wednesday, December 23, 2009. What a nice Christmas gift for La Cartoucherie-Cour des Images !

New Award for A mouse's tale
Benjamin Renner already won many international prizes for his graduation film, including the 2008 Cartoon d'Or. A mouse's tale has been awarded the Best student film Prize at the seventh Tindirindis International Animated Film Festival in Lituania. Musician and sound designer, Christophe Héral, recently explained on Arte Channel in Court-Circuit TV programme how he worked on this film, using film excerpts to illustrate his work.

Improvisation match on BOB
With the partnership of l'Equipée, Folimage and la Poudrière, Jazz Action Valence and the Valence Music Academy present “Music and Image” : duets and trios from various music styles confront each other by improvising on short animation films. Bob, Jean-Pierre Poirel graduation film (2006) will be part of the match.

A journey in Films Archives' collections
The CNC's French Film Archives celebrate this year their fortieth anniversary. On that occasion, La Poudrière and Lux cinema theater, have concocted three “Animated films history” special programmes. The first screening recounts the pre-cinema history and the first animated films, with classics like Emile Raynaud ‘s Fantasmagorie, and also some rare films like La fortune enchantée by Pierre Charbonnier or La joie de vivre by Hector Hoppin and Anthony Gross.
The next screening will be on February 9th 2010, in Lux, around the Burlesque thematic.
